Bristol Wild Gardens provide a renovation service that will transform your garden into a wildlife haven.

Whether it’s a pond, a wildflower meadow, or a nectar rich border – there are so many ways your garden can become a rich, flourishing ecosystem, for the benefit of local wildlife, as well as a magical place to enjoy nature.

Habitat

The loss of habitat is a major factor in the decline of biodiversity, particularly in urban areas. By renovating your garden to benefit local wildlife, you can contribute to habitat restoration.

Rewilding

You don’t need a vast highland estate, or acres of rural land, to contribute to rewilding – even a small inner city garden can be a refuge for local species of fauna and flora, and an oasis for visiting animals.

Nature

Working alongside nature is a core principle of Bristol Wild Gardens. By combining traditional techniques with new technology, and rejecting harmful chemicals, gardening can be for everyone’s benefit – be it client or cornflower.

“Gardening is civil and social, but it wants the vigour and freedom of the forest and the outlaw.”

“Robert came to us in 2022 and did a complete renovation. He built a wildlife pond, a fantastic meandering path, established nectar borders, planted a native hedge at the bottom of the garden and planted many trees and shrubs built two raised beds. He pruned our ancient apple tree and established a wildflower garden at the front of our house and attached many pieces of trellis. He’s an absolute legend and we have him back regularly to maintain our beautiful garden. Highly recommended!!”

“Robbie has done an amazing job at transforming our small urban garden both visually and functionally. It’s now a much more pleasant space to sit and relax in and has been planted to support wildlife. Robbie was extremely personable, punctual and meticulous in both his workmanship and project management. We are so pleased with the outcome. We would definitely recommend Robbie as a landscape contractor.”

“I am extremely happy with the work Robbie has done on my garden. He has totally transformed the space, including a pond, raised bed, plants and trellis. We are already seeing more wildlife in the garden. He is good with communication and gave excellent suggestions and advice. He is a real grafter and reasonably priced too. I have no hesitation in recommending Robbie!”

“Robbie has restored my wildlife pond beautifully. I cannot think of any way his work could have been better. He was completely reliable, kept me informed, stuck to schedule and tidied up fantastically. He was so knowledgeable about wildlife, and looked after ‘my’ newts really carefully. They are very happy in their refurbished home! I absolutely recommend Robbie’s services. Really pleased he was able to do the job for me.”
